As you know, Resurrection Sunday is just around the corner. We are getting ready for company at church! We are trusting God for a record number of first-time guests to join us on Easter Sunday. We are also encouraging every life group to reach out to all of their members and guests to be in attendance. Are you ready for company? Have you invited people? Have you assigned someone to welcome all new guests to your group? Are you ready to invite someone to sit with you in worship? Is your group praying regularly for people to be reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
Here is another important, but often overlooked way to make our first time guest feel comfortable. That is, make sure your room is ready. Is it clean? Is it organized? Have you thrown away all the old literature? Have you taken down the old posters? Are the chairs arranged nearly?
Many of our groups share rooms. Please make sure that you leave the room in an orderly fashion for the next group. Do not leave your old coffee and refreshments out. Straighten up for the next group.
We only have one time to make a good first impression. Work with your group to make sure you are ready for company. Let's trust God together for an awesome, life-changing Sunday!
What are some ways you can think of that we can get ready for company?
