Mission and Vision
The mission of BiblicalTraining is to make new and fully-devoted disciples of Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:19-20; Eph. 4:12-13).
Our vision is to provide affordable world-class educational resources to equip leaders in the local church around the world.
- We should learn holistically, with our heads (information), heart (reflection on the character of God and ourselves), and hands (changed behavior)
- Our primary learning should be done in relationship with one another, within the context of the local church.
- Our classes are broadly evangelical, not tied to any one church, denomination, or tradition.
Listen to our president, Dr. Bill Mounce, explain our vision and mission.
Learning Plans
- Foundations: our most basic set of courses, especially suited for the new believer.
- Discipleship: training for all Jesus followers, regardless of profession, gifting, or role.
- Certificates: Courses of study on particular topics where people can walk through the material together.
- Group Leaders: Courses for people moving into some form of leadership, such as Sunday School teachers, small group leaders, and eventually others such as worship team members and short term missions.
- Church Leaders: For people who have a leadership role over the whole church. This includes materials for elders, and a full seminary-level curriculum for pastors and preachers.
- BiblicalTraining Institute: Seminary-level training for pastors and preachers.
