Weekend Highlights From 4/22/12

1. It was awesome seeing nine people make their public profession of faith in Christ through baptism! 
2. I am humbled again by the many people who volunteer to serve others on Sunday. Over 200 people make our ministries possible through their service.
3. Joe Otwell did a great job leading worship while Craig was out of town. We are blessed with a great staff and musicians. 
4. I love preaching on the love of God!
5. I am looking forward to hearing Dr. John Sullivan preach next week as we celebrate Senior Adult Sunday.
6. One of our preschool departments had more children yesterday than on Easter! Keep on sending the little ones, Lord! (And more workers, too!)
7. I appreciate the way many members go out of their way to make those around them feel welcome. 
8. We had a great Finance Committee meeting last night. Thank you for your faithfulness in your financial support.
9. We had our first Haiti 2012 mission trip planning meeting last night. Please pray as we prepare to serve the children of the Cabaret Orphanage and School.
